The WHS Tigers played in the Bolivar Invitational Tournament today. The rain was drizzling, but one Tiger was sizzling. Senior Wade Howser came away from the match with a career tournament best 78. He finished 6th overall in a tournament featuring 16 schools and 71 golfers. For Wade, it has been a long battle to reach low scores. He avoided the big number today and was consistent with his drives and putting. He has been working on course management and has been getting extra help with his chipping and pitching which all were working well today. 

As for the rest of the team, Junior Jackson Tetreault was up and down all day and hung tough with an 81 which was highlighted by an Eagle. It was his first trip around the Siloh and he failed to navigate a few hazards which led to a couple high scores, but tee to green he is playing at a very high level. Other Tiger scores were Dylan Reynolds 108, Isaac Brooks 124, and Kevin Holbrook 140.

The tournament was won by Nevada with a team total of 308. The Tigers finished 9th at 392.
