Waynesville's girls soccer team played well, but lost at fourth-ranked Jefferson City on Friday, 3-0. Jeff City scored on a penatly kick 27 minutes into the first half, but the Tigers trailed only 1-0 at halftime. A second PK found the back of the net early in the second half and the strong Jays' defense kept WHS off the scoreboard for the win. Ashton Pilz had seven saves in goal for Waynesville.
