8th Grade (M.S.) Football vs. Lewis & Clark Middle School

Game Date
Sep 26, 2013
Score
TIGERS: 42
LEWIS & CLARK MIDDLE SCHOOL: 0

The Tigers looked impressive again last night as they rolled to a 42-0 victory over Lewis & Clark Middle School-Jefferson City.  The Tigers were successful on the ground and through the air offensively.  Powered by the play of starting quarterback, David Adams, the Tigers jumped out to a quick 14-0 lead after the first quarter and did not look back.  The ground attack of the Tigers has proved to be their bread and butter powered by Andrew Croker, David Adams, and Quentin Murray.  The Tigers found some success threw the air with Adams connecting with wide receiver, Elliot Dangerfield from 10 yards out.

Again, the Tigers pitched a shutout defensively.  Led by safety, Adrian Alejos, and outside linebacker, Andrew Croker, the Tigers dominated defensively.  The Tigers have proven that takeaways and tackles are the perfect formula for keeping opponents out of the end zone.  Croker, for a second consecutive week, intercepted a pass and returned it for a touchdown.  The Tigers have been working hard in practice to perfect the little things defensively and will continue to stay hungry and stay after it.

The Tigers will look to keep their perfect season going as they take to the road to make the trip up to Sedalia where they will take on Smith-Cotton Middle School next Thursday, October 3.  The Tigers will return home on Thursday, October 17 for a showdown with the rival Camdenton Lakers.
