Jefferson City continued to weave its mastery over the Tiger soccer team with a 4-1 win Tuesday night in the state capital. The Tigers will conclude their regular season with Senior Night tonight against Ozark. The game will be played at Tiger Stadium.
Waynesville broke on top of the Jays with a beautiful run in the tenth minute. Danny Sesay gathered the ball on the right sideline, beat a pair of defenders, drove towards goal and placed a nice cross past another Jay back. The ball cleanly found Alberto Reyes on the left post for the game's first goal. The Jays tied the score eight minutes later and scored three times in the second half. Jeff City took 28 shots, 20 of which were on goal, but Tiger goal keeper Jacob Woodward swept the mouth for 16 saves on his busy night.
