A Team: 25-6, 25-11  Win

Set 1:

Waynesville jumped out to a 7-0 lead with #12 Madie Dye's great serving. With the help of strong front row net play from # 32 Jayla Gettys-1 block, #2 Ramiri Gardner-1 kill, and #36 Truman Trower-1 kill the tigers extended their lead to 12-4. #7 Fiona Hein served 13 straight points against the Buckskins to clinch the first set 25-6. 

Set 2:

In the second set, Joel E. Barber kept it close in the beginning at 6-6. #18 Haley Michels opened up the gap serving seven straight to put the Tigers ahead 13-6.  Dye and  Gardner had a huge double block at the net that sparked the WMDS squad.  Gettys-1 kill,  Dye-1 kill, and  Michels-1 kill.  Hein finished out the second set in the same strong serving fashion as the first set taking the second set 25-11 and the match. Currently the 7th grade A team is 2-2 on the season. The 7th grade B team will host Licking on Monday, Sept. 26th at 5:00 p.m. in the WMDS upper gym.
