NIXA JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 67
We faced a very good Nixa team that we just couldn't stop from scoring from the outside. No matter what defense we ran, Nixa just answered right back finding the open man to score. We had several shots, just couldn't get anything to fall or make layups which hurt us the worst. Going forward, we are going to continue to work on our defense to make it stronger and add a lot more shooting into our practices. I'm very proud of the girls for attacking the basket as much as they do, that's one thing that seems to be hard for girls to do at this age. Our scorers for this game was: Mary Henry with four points, Kayleigh Smith with three, Abigail Barnum with two, Kylee Mitchell with two, and Jadyn Knox with two.
