A Newport High School graduate (AR), 2 sport athlete at Newport High (Football & Track) and a 4 year participant in the ROTC program.

Earned BA degree in teaching from Williams Baptist College in 2007 & earned Masters in Sports Administration from Arkansas State University in 2016.

Spent the past seasons coaching in the College and High School ranks throughout Northeast Arkansas (Brinkley, Batesville, Southside-Batesville, Newport, & Cross Co. HS, and Lyon College). 

Coaching positions over the years: Defensive Line (Lyon College), Defensive Backs (Brinkley, Batesville), Linebackers (Southside, Newport), Offensive Line (Batesville, Southside, Newport), Wide Receivers (Batesville, Newport), Defensive Coordinator (Brinkley, Southside, & Cross Co.), Pass Game & Run Game Coordinator (Newport), Special Teams Coordinator (Batesville, Southside).

Married (Margaret) with 2 children (Jalen-Batesville High Grad 2014 & member of Ark. National Guard, Mikala- Batesville High Grad 2017 & studying Pre-Pharmacy @ Howard Payne Univ.).

“After working in education and coaching for over 10 years and having the benefit of raising my family in that time span, the opportunity for me to pursue future endeavors with my career has presented itself here at Waynesville.  Serving as a Head Coach football has always been a desire, and I’m excited to be a part of the Waynesville Tigers program!  I know there are a lot of great coaches who go beyond the call of duty in their respected areas, and I am honored to lead this program with such an elite group of individuals.”
