The Waynesville Tiger golf team played a duel match with Rolla High School today. The Bulldogs won the match with a score of 170 to the Tigers score of 202. Wade Howser was the low player for WHS as he carded a 43, while medalist Jake Drewniak of Rolla came in at a 5 over par 41.
This was the lowest team score the boys have posted this season. We bested our previous home total by 12 strokes. In prior matches we had only two players able to shoot below 60, now I am starting to see all five capable of shooting under 60 and that helps in the overall team score. Jacob Morriss shot a 45, Fred Boone a 56, James Richardson a 58, and Dylan Reynolds had a 62.
