The WHS Tiger Golf Team ended it's season today at The Club at Old Kinderhook, in Class 4 District 5 play at Camdenton today. The Tigers were not able to qualify anyone for state sectional play on 12 May effectively ending our season.

Junior Jacob Morriss led the Tigers with a 96, Wade Howser 113, Dylan Reynolds 120, Fred Boone 154, and James Richardson had a 162. The young golfers battled swing break downs and mental mistakes on a day where the weather was perfect for scoring well on a great golf course.

I hope the experience of playing in state competition and the results from today will fuel these young men to get out as much as they can over the upcoming months to work on and improve areas of their game that didn't go as planned today. We have a great group of kids that really love playing and want to get better so they can be more competitive in the upcoming seasons. 

I am proud of our season and the way these young men have improved over the season. Most of the team has only been playing since March 3rd and most have shown signs of great things for the future. I have grown as a coach as well. I see many areas of emphasis that I want to encourage my players to go out and work on.
