The WHS Golf Team participated in the 2015 Central Bank Lebanon Golf Classic at Great Life and Fitness in Lebanon, MO today. The sky was clear, the weather gorgeous and it ended with the Tigers' best performance in 2 years. The Tigers placed 4th out of 10 teams marking their best finish in a team tournament since 2012.

The Tigers were led by Junior Jackson Tetreault with an 83 who has now been the lowest Tiger scorer in all three matches this season. He is steadily working his way toward improving his game each and every match. Senior Wade Howser was next with an 88. Sophomore Dylan Reynolds came in with a personal best 98 in tournament play. Dylan worked very hard during the off season and has improved his scoring average by 26 strokes from last season. The nice thing is that when you ask Dylan how he played, he will tell you, " Ah, not so good Coach!" That shows his desire to better himself and his competitive spirit. He looks past the bigger picture of improving 26 strokes and is constantly focusing on the now.Both Sophomores Isaac Brooks (121) and Kevin Holbrook (113) played consistently in their very first tournament. Isaac and Kevin have both been hitting the range and practice greens to work on their swings and that has resulted in much better scoring from our 4 and 5 positions over last season. All will admit to having far to go in the short game, but Rome wasn't built in a day. With patience and determination I see our scoring continuing to improve over last season.
