Waynesville Tennis had another great night on the courts, beating Richland, 9-0.  Only giving up 16 games total as a team, Waynesville showed no mercy in this quick match.  Being out sick, David Sneed played his first match of the season, kicking off his season with an 8-1 win in doubles with partner Eromo Aligbe.  Richland was feeding our team many shots at net, and I was proud to see our boys smashing them back in their faces.  I love to see my team play aggressively.  Out on court 3, seeing Sneed and Aligbe playing together for the first time in match play, I noticed they compliment each other very well.  Aligbe is always calm.  Always.  He plays very well on baseline and net, and acts as a backboard no matter where he stands on the court.  Sneed is extremely aggressive.  There were so many times in this match that I saw Sneed jumping high off the ground and smashing tennis balls so hard that they were bouncing up and over the fence.  Their teamwork only lost them one game as a result.  Tyler Gayman and Derick Anglin both skunked their opponents in singles, with 8-0 victories on both courts.  Both of these boys tend to play long, competitive matches.  This was their quickest match so far this season and completely opposite from the night before with both having very close, intense matches.  The Tigers have a much tougher match coming up Thursday night with a home dual with the powerful Jeff City Jays at 4:00.
