The Waynesville Cross Country team competed in their second meet of the year in Lebanon last night. The Varsity Girls included Kellsie Herrmann, Alaixces Bartley, Janae Taylor, Kelsey Mitchell, Aminah Mujahid, Resha Swanson and Sarah Bland. Kellsie Herrmann led the girls team placing 4th overall with a time of 21:31. The girls team finished 1st place out of 8 teams. The JV girls also earned a 2nd place plaque. The boys Varsity team included Najim Udchanchon, Nick Victor, Derek Ray, Danny Okorie, Wade Paulk, Patrick Lucitt, Michael Burkhart and Brian Wolfe. The boys team finished 4th out of 9 schools. The boys race champion was Najim Udchachon who won with a time of 16:49. The teams next meet is September 25th in Rolla.
