Nixa's Lady Eagles, fresh off of a Class 3 Final Four appearance last year, were forced to come from behind to beat Waynesville 3-1 in girls soccer Monday at Tiger Stadium. The Lady Tigers put up the first score when senior Elizabeth Sisson scored just over five minutes into the game. Sisson was assisted by Jessica Schellhase, and the score was still 1-0 at halftime. But Nixa's defense denied Waynesville any more shots in the game while its forwards managed a trio of second half goals for the win. Tiger goalkeeper D'Anna Hasik, who was kept busy by Nixas's steady attack, managed eleven saves in the game.
