The Lady Tiger soccer team suffered a frustrating 4-2 loss to Kansas City-Barstow to conclude the Laker Invitational at Camdenton Saturday afternoon.  It was Waynesville's eighth loss in its last nine games.  The Tigers and Barstow each had similar shot totals, but Waynesville just couldn't finish as the Barstow defense repeatedly turned away Tiger attacks.  Barstow shocked the Tigers with two goals in the first four minutes.  It was 4-0 with eleven minutes left in the game when an Elizabeth Sisson corner kick entered the net off a punch deflection by the Barstow keeper.  On three other second half occasions, Barstow came up with big plays to keep Waynesville off the scoreboard.  Diving saves on shots by Sisson and Camia Blash were denied as was an earlier Sisson corner kick when a defender pushed a lose ball away.  The Tigers will host West Plains in their last regular season home game on Tuesday.  It will be Senior Night.
