A tightly played soccer game disintegrated within seconds Tuesday as Camdenton scored a 2-0 Ozark Conference girls soccer win at Tiger Stadium. Both teams had struggled to find scoring opportunities for 74 minutes, but the Lakers' Natalie Schulte followed her ball into an open net at the 5:51 mark and came right back with another 37 seconds later. The loss was Waynesville's eighth shutout this season and dropped the Lady Tigers to 1-4 in O.C. play. WHS had missed a chance to go ahead with 9:24 left when Lexie Timmons' direct kick went wide left from 40 yards out.
