Arch rival and tenth-ranked Rolla rolled into Waynesville Tuesday night and shutout the Lady Tigers 5-0 in Ozark Conference soccer action. Rolla assured itself of a winning record in conference games with its fifth win against no losses. The Lady Bulldogs scored in the third minute and led 3-0 by halftime. Waynesville played better than the final scored indicated, but only threatened twice in the 80 minutes. With so much time spent on the offensive end, breakthroughs were inevitable for Rolla, which had 12 shots on goal and 14 corner kicks. The shutout loss was Waynesville's fifth in a row, the second time that has occurred this season. The JV game was canceled because of weather delays. It will be made up at five o'clock, Monday, April 27 at Waynesville Middle School's Slaughter Field. The varsity opens play in West Plains's Zizzer Invitational Friday against Moberly.
