The Tigers competed in yet another tough match against Camdenton, falling 2-7. Lindzie King (soph) met powerhouse Finessa Rassel in her singles match finishing with a 3-8 loss. I'm seeing improvements in Lindzie daily. She's really working hard and is a fantastic player, constantly looking for a challenge and trying to expand her outlook and strategy of the game. Unfortunately, she meets some of the best tennis players that Missouri has to offer. Paige Massey (sr) came out kicking and fought for a 8-3 win over her opponent. Paige is one of the most determined players I've ever met. She fights for every point and lets no shot go past her. She's really gotten stronger this year, and it shows in the power she puts behind every stroke. Doubles team Kaitlynn Wagner (jr) and Jessica Goodson (jr) pulled out a win as well, 8-4. These girls really worked well with each other. They see the court well and do a very good job of predicting their opponents and putting themselves, and their opponents, in a position to control the court. Doubles team Randi Anderlik (sr) and Mollie Henry (soph) played an amazing net game,  despite falling 1-8. Watching this match, it was definitely a closer match than the score reflects. Unfortunately, Camdenton pulled out more game wins in the end. As young as this team is, it's been so great to see just how far they have come. They're all making improvements everyday. These matches are showing us our areas of strength and weakness, and I've been proud to see just how hard the girls are working toward bettering themselves.
