Waynesville (1-0) pummels Parkview (0-1) 49-28 in a continuous scoring game Friday night to secure their first victory and set the tone for the rest of the season.

Scoring was low within the first few minutes of the game but progressed rather quickly throughout the first half. With the tigers obtaining a 23-8 lead thanks to a fumble recovery followed by a touchdown in Waynesville's favor, the team breezed to halftime.

Seems like hydration was all they needed in order to steamroll themselves to their first victory of the season. This Tiger offensive backfield and defensive front looks menacing, and this seems to only be the start.

Let’s see if Waynesville can keep the momentum going as they hit the road for Camdenton next Friday, September 3rd. (7 pm Kickoff)
