Juwan Morgan scored six points in the opening period to boost the Tigers to an early 13-8 lead and WHS went on to throttle host Nixa 55-42 Friday night. The Tigers outscored Nixa in every quarter to run their record to two and oh on the young season. Morgan finished the game with 12 points, but it was junior guard Joe Johnson who lit up the net. Johnson finished with a game-high 21 for the Tigers.
