The fourth-ranked Tigers struggled against a determined Carnahan game plan, but utilized the free throw line to come from behind and beat the visiting Cougars 57-50 Saturday night.  Carnahan packed the inside against Tiger senior Juwan Morgan, limiting the Indiana signee to just four field goals on the night, but Morgan sank 17 of 21 free throw attempts to bring the Tigers out of a first-half funk.  Morgan would finish with 25 points and five blocked shots at the other end of the court. 

Carnahan raced to a 9-1 lead at the outset and was ahead 13-8 after the first quarter.  An early three stretched its lead to eight again in the second period before the Tigers began to find the range.  Morgan scored six in the second quarter with Jon Moore adding four off the bench to make it 22-21 at halftime.  Joe Johnson put the Tigers ahead for the first time in the game with a long three at the 3:35 mark and made it solid with another long one 50 seconds later.  With Carnahan being whistled for numerous fouls, the Tigers hit nine from the line to stretch their lead to 11 after three periods. 

The Cougars hit a quick pair to open the fourth quarter, but the Tigers continued to pull away until they held a 55-38 advantage with two minutes remaining.  Carnahan made a final run against Waynesville reserves, but free throws by Robin Huber and Omar Ward Jr. kept things under control on Senior Night.  As a team, Waynesville made 28 of 37 free throw attempts.  Johnson was second highest in scoring with 13. 

The school honored nine senior basketball players and four senior cheerleaders and their parents prior to the game.
