Tuesday night's Tiger game at Camdenton had double the importance: an Ozark Conference game plus a meeting of future district opponents.  After the Tigers' earlier upset loss to Jeff City, the game bore a lot of importance on district seeding; and the Tigers gained a win on both counts 61-50.  But it wasn't easy.

The Lakers stayed with O.C. front runners early and made a serious attempt to win the game in the third quarter.  After holding a narrow 24-23 lead at halftime, the Lakers opened the third quarter on a 10-0 run to go up by 11.  That's when the Tigers squeezed out of the half court game and began to run.  Waynesville outscored the Lakers 16-4 the rest of the quarter and opened the fourth with four straight baskets to drain the Lakers.

Juwan Morgan led the game with 20 and Reggie Walker had a big night with 18.  Dewayne Morton helped out with six stepping up from the JV.  The Tigers moved their record to 16-4 overall and a perfect 5-0 in the O.C.
