Waynesville's Lady Tigers let a halftime lead slip away as Marshfield put three players in double figures to win 49-44 Thursday night on Tiger Court.  After holding 16-14 and 24-22 leads after the first and second quarters, the WHS offense went into hibernation.  Marshfield finally took the lead at 29-28 and held a 35-34 edge after three. 

The Lady Jays went on an 8-2 run to open the final period.  A pair of baskets by Nina Kizzee drew Waynesville to within one with 36 seconds remaining, but Marshfield's Lilia Theobald was fouled on a field goal and sank the free throw to make it four again.  Ashton Pilz attempted a three-point shot with 10.1 seconds remaining, but it went off to the right and Marshfield had the win. 

Most of the Tiger scoring came from outside, led by freshman LaShawna Stone for the second straight game.  She finished with 16.  The Tigers dropped to six and eleven on the season.
