SALEM R80 HIGH SCHOOL: 40
The Freshmen boys basketball team won 43-40 in a nail-biter against Salem on Thursday night. The Tigers were lead in scoring by John Eley with 15pts. It was a huge team effort with all eight of the Tigers scoring in the contest making that the first time all season that has happened. Keshawn Smith came up with three steals in less than a minute late in the game to help preserve the victory. The Freshmen Tigers next game is Saturday night against the Hillcrest Hornets.
