Sixth-ranked Jefferson City proved just how strong it could be with a dominating ball-possession performance in beating Waynesville 4-0 Thursday night for the Class 3 District 10 Championship at Lebanon.  The Jays got two goals each from a pair of senior forwards in the win.  Two of the goals came off of headers and a third on a penalty kick.  It was 3-0 at halftime. 

The game was very physical and seemed to affect Waynesville's efforts to sustain much of an attack as the Jays controlled the midfield.  The Tigers finished the season with a fourth place finish in the Ozark Conference and a second place district trophy plaque.  Their final 14-10 record was the thirteenth straight year they won ten or more games.
