Waynesville junior forwards Chase Holden and Caleb Rodriguez  combined for a trio of scores off of corner kicks to lead the Tigers to a 5-0 win over Ozark Conference foe Lebanon Tuesday at Anderson Field.  The win nudged the Tigers' O.C. mark to a perfect four and oh.

Holden repeatedly placed his corner kicks just inside the goal box and Rodriguez hooked up perfectly with three of them for goals.  Rodriguez scored his first two on headers and his last on a  hard volley shot past the LHS keeper.  The first header came midway in the first half and stood up at halftime as both teams battled evenly on the pitch.  The second header came in the eighth minute of the second half and the volley shot four minutes later.  Then seniors Mark Ortiz and Louis Tejada took over and celebrated Senior Night with a pair of late goals in the runaway win.  Ortiz slammed home a powerful shot at the 7:47 mark and Tejada redirected a nice cross from Alberto Reyes with 2:40 left.

Senior goalkeeper Jon Moore turned away all three Lebanon shots on goal in the first half, and the Tiger defense allowed none in the second.  Other seniors also  honored before the game were Austin Bogle, Riley King, and Tremayne Watterson.

The win was Waynesville's sixth to open the season and fourth straight shutout.  The Tigers will host a very good Nixa team on Friday.
