Ozark proved to be too much for the Waynesville soccer Tigers and spoiled Senior Night, 7-2, on Tuesday at Tiger Stadium.  WHS honored its seven seniors prior to the game, and the Tigers  broke out of the gate for a 1-0 lead in the fourth minute when Danny Sesay scored from close-in.  But Ozark countered that score just 1:25 later and  took the lead for good in the ninth minute.

Ozark's speed soon began making a real difference and it led 4-1 at halftime and stretched the margin to 7-1  before Hermano Carvalho scored on a beautiful long-range shot with 28:28 remaining.  The visitors now enter district play with a 16-7 record.  Waynesville is 9-13.  The Tigers will host their own district  next week and are the two seed.  They will open play at seven o'clock Tuesday against Parkview.
