Junior forward Daniel Sesay kicked off the 2016 soccer season in high style Tuesday with a five-goal performance in the Tigers 9-0 Ozark Conference soccer whitewash at Springfield Hillcrest.  Sesay turned the game upside down early by scoring just two-and-a-half minutes into the game and having four goals in the first 7:05 of play.  His fourth goal came on a beautiful one touch redirecton from a perfect free kick off the foot of Austin Cartwright.  Cartwright's brother, Joey, also had an assist on a Sesay goal and made it 5-0 at halftime with a score of his own. 

Sesay's final goal came with 15:41 remaining after Brandon Hoffman had scored early in the second half.  Freshman Garret Long opened his high school career with two goals in the final nine minutes, one off another assist from Joey Cartwright.

The Tigers out shot their hosts 29-1, giving first-year goal keepers Isaac Swanson and Ryan Wilburn  a chance to become comfortable with their first varsity experiences this fall.
