Waynesville fought visiting Springfield Glendale tooth and nail Wednesday evening, but the tall and talented Falcons went home with a 3-0 Ozark Conference victory.  WHS never backed off from the perennial  title contenders, but just didn't have the scoring punch to catch them.  Glendale scored the only goal it needed in the 23rd minute off of a corner kick.  Two more midway in the second half were too much to overcome.  The Tigers possessed the ball well at times, but had trouble penetrating Glendale's back line.  The Tigers will face Springfield Greenwood Friday afternoon in the annual Kickapoo Shootout which will continue on Saturday.
