Set 1:  25-21

Licking came out strong putting eight straight points on the board. Waynesville kept chipping away to take the lead behind #17 Mayla Thomas's twelve straight points to put the Tigers ahead 17-14. Waynesville refused to give up their lead with #34 Callie Zarcone--2 kills and #39 Sarah Pollman-1 kill. WMDS took the set 25-21. 

Set 2: 17-25

The Tigers and Wildcats exchanged points evenly 11-12 when Licking opened up the gap 11-15. Waynesville struggled in serve receive in the second set. Licking pulled away after #16 Lindsey Sims-1 kill, Thomas-1 kill, and Pollman-2 kills contributed to the 17-25 second set loss.

Set 3: 19-25

Licking was ready for the Tigers jumping out to a 2-8 lead. The Wildcats kept it going with challenging serves. Waynesville fought hard to take back the lead 14-13 with Libero #5 Abby Barnum's back row defense. WMDS let the Wildcats extend the lead again to 17-22 taking the set on Tiger serving errors and the match 19-25.
