Waynesville jumped out to a slight lead 12-8 when Eldon served nine straight on the Tigers. The Mustangs would serve out the first set with a score of 15-25. #2 Ramiri Gardner-2 blocks, #12 Madie Dye-1 kill, #32 Jayla Gettys-1 kill, #36 Truman Trower-1 kill, #14 Mary Henry-3 digs.

Set 2:

The Mustangs and Tigers exchanged point for point early in the set. At 9-13, Madie Dye served up seven straight points putting Waynesville back on top at 18-13. Strong play at the net from #18 Haley Michels-1 kill, Madie Dye-2 kills, Jayla Gettys-3 kills and great assists from #7 Fiona Hein made it difficult for Eldon to find any type of offensive rhythm. The Mustangs would fight back coming within 1 point of the Tigers but strong defense and teamwork saw Waynesville through to a 25-23 win in set two.

Set 3:

Jayla Gettys would serve 8 straight points to lead the Tiger charge with an early 12-3 lead. Waynesville never looked back. Ramiri Gardner-5 kills, Aminah Rivera-1 kill, Fiona Hein-1 kill, Jayla Gettys-4 kills, and Truman Trower-1 kill in the 25-20 set and match victory. The Lady Tigers are 4-3 on regular season play and will host Lebanon on Thursday evening at home for their final match of the season.
