The 7th grade Lady Tigers hosted the Camdenton Lakers on Sept. 14. Both teams were evenly matched exchanging point for point in the first set. Camdenton went on a 10 point run overtaking Waynesville 15-20. #14 Reja Villanueva served up five consecutive points to get the Tigers back in it. #18 Angelique Gonzalez served out the set with the a 26-24 1st set win. Gonzalez had 1 Kill, #26 Gabby Brown-1 kill,  #27 Brittany Davison-1 kill, #5 Kesare Garcia had 2 digs and #7 Vicky Alvarado had 3 aces. In the 2nd set the Lady Lakers took the lead early and never looked back taking the second set 18-25. The third set Waynesville was determined to take the match and did just that behind Davison's six consecutive serves that sparked the Tigers. Waynesville would close out the set 25-23 and took the match.  7th Grade Lady Tigers are now 1-2. We will host Lebanon at WMDS Tuesday, Sept. 19th.
