The Seventh grade Tigers hosted the Lebanon Yellow Jackets on September 19th. The Lady Tigers fell in the first set 7-25. In the second set, Lebanon served well overtaking the Waynesville team 8-25. #5 Kesare Garcia had 3 digs for the match and #17 Alison Secrest had one kill. In the B game, Waynesville kept it close at 10-15 early in the set but Lebanon would finish it out 18-25. In the second set, #19 Samaraha Larsen served 4 straight points to put the Tigers on top 8-6. Waynesville would not lose their lead. Tough net play by #24 Kierra Martin and #42 Nia Williamson helped the Lady Tigers secure the second set win that forced a third set. In the third and deciding set, the Yellow Jackets broke the 8-8 tie, winning the side-out and then serving 6 straight on the Tigers to take the match 8-15 in the third. Waynesville will travel to Joel E. Barber on Thursday, September 21 to take on the Buckskins.
