Tigers Win: 11 - 6
Tigers Win 2 Over the Buckskins!
In game one of the double header, Houston Poole was strong on the bump going a very effective, 4 scoreless innings, in 47 pitches. Poole allowed 2 hits wile striking out 9 and walking one. Carter Pondrom lead the Tiger offensive onslaught with with 4 RBIs on 3 hits. The Tiger offensive also swiped 14 bags en route to victory.
The second game of the double header, the Tigers remained strong. Pondrom started on the hill for Waynesville. He went one inning, allowing 1 Run on 2 Hits with 2 Strikeouts in 19 pitches. Braylin Scott came in to pitch in the second and never gave up the ball. Scott allowed 4 R on 6 H, 1 BB and struck out 4. Owen Shick laid down a sacrifice bunt to bring home the go ahead run in the fifth and the Tigers held on to win after plating one more run. Hankins, Zuber, Martinez. and Reinke all had one hit. Andrew Turner led the baserunning efforts with 3 stolen bags.
The Tigers look ahead to Saturday's tournament after the strong outing on Wednesday.

Tigers Win: 3 - 1
The Tigers escaped with a narrow victory of the Bison of Buffalo. The Tigers were led by an outstanding pitching display by Seth Stueck. Stueck threw a complete game allowing 1 run. This performance allowed the Tigers to cling to a 3-1 Victory.
The Tigers were able to take Game 2 of the doubleheader as the offense exploded. The Tigers scored 12 and held off the Bison. Dylan Pelkey started on the mound for the Tigers. He allowed 5 runs. Isaac Martinez relieved Pelkey, and held the Bison to 3 runs.
The Tigers look ahead to Joel E. Barber next week.

Tigers Win: 9 - 8
Houston Poole got the nod for the Tigers, and had a quality start going 3 innings allowing two runs on three hits and striking out two. Crocker started out the first inning with two runs, but the Tigers pounced back with 2 of their own. Waynesville then added 2 more in the second inning. Crocker would score 4 in the fourth, but again, Waynesville was relentless and tied it again at 6. The fifth inning had drama, as Crocker scored 2 more in the top of the fifth. The Tigers were relentless, as Seth Steuck brought in the game tying run (Hankins) after Martinez scored on a wild pitch. Then came the fireworks. Steuck stole second and scored on a single by Houston Poole, and the Tigers win in Walk-Off fashion!
Game 2 of the double header ended in a 5-5 tie. Weigelt and Zuber managed multiple hits for the Tigers. Weigelt also stole 4 bases. The Tigers also got good pitching out of all 5 pitchers they ran out. Scott and Pelkey both allowed 0 runs. Scott allowed only 2 baserunners. Pelkey gave up 2 hits, one walk and got one strikeout.

Tigers Lose: 6 - 13
The Tigers started out strong behind Aiden Smith who threw 63 pitches through 3 innings, allowing 3 Runs on 5 hits. Smith had the lead through 3 innings with the Tigers up 6-3. In the fourth inning, Dixon's offense exploded and took the lead, never looking back to hand the Tigers a 13-6 loss. Kyle Wilking, Seth Steuck and Aiden Smith all had two hits.
In game two of the double header Dixon's offense stayed hot during the first inning scoring 5 runs. Waynesville would push for a comeback in the 3rd, bringing the score to 5-6, but couldn't hold Dixon as the Bulldogs scored another two and didn't look back en route to a 13-6 victory. Dylan Pelkey lead the Tiger offense with 2 hits and 2 RBI's. John Reinke also added a hit and an RBI. The Tigers had strong pitching throughout the game with a new pitcher throwing each inning. Owen Shick was the highlight of the Tiger's pitchers allowing no hits and striking out 1 in his one inning of work.
