Waynesville Lady Tigers Varsity collected nine hits in the game. The Tigers got on the board in the first inning, as Bailey Schultz hit into a fielders choice, scoring one run. The Tigers tallied three runs in the sixth inning - with combined hits from Taylor King, Schultz, and Katie Spencer. Isabella Pondrom was the Tigers winning pitcher; she went seven innings, allowing four hits, six runs and 14 strikeouts.
The Lady Tigers collected nine hits - by Abby Hillman, King, Blake and Pondrom each managing multiple hits for the Tigers. Alyssa Hillman led the Lady Tigers on the bases with two stolen bases, as we dominated the base paths with nine stolen bases.
