Sarah Covey.

Head Coach

Biography:

As a recent MED graduate in Positive Coaching from MIZZOU, my coaching aims enforce utilizing sport psychology coupled with volleyball court knowledge in order to bridge the gap between mental toughness and physical capabilities. These paired domains will aid in coaching players to their optimal performance, regardless of the environment or situation they may be in. As my expectations are to foster goal-oriented motivations, a drive for success and integral character within all members of our Tiger Volleyball Program, the desired outcome will be women leaving our volleyball community prepared to face the challenges amidst the world and to reach success along their paths in life.

Bethany O'Shel.

Asst. Coach

Biography:

My name is Bethany Oshel and I will be joining the tiger volleyball family this year. I am very excited to become part of your team. I have played volleyball since 7th grade and I am a true witness of what a sport can do for your life and how it shapes your views and attitude as an adult.  I have ran  clinics for elementary and middle school volleyball programs and coached "little league" Volleyball. I went to Sanford Brown College in St. Louis MO for Veterinary technology. I graduated in 2014 and began working at our local vet clinic here in Versailles. I currently live on my family farm and enjoy farming with my brother and Dad while my husband is in North Dakota working in the oil fields. I have a two year old little girl who is full of energy! After I had Maggie my goals in life changed; I began working for Morgan Co. R 2 schools as a preschool para as well as the vet clinic. I quickly fell in love with this work. I have been with Morgan Co. for two years and in the Versailles area for 24 years. My mom recently moved up to Lebanon and after visiting her I loved the way the town felt, plus there is a Taco bell!  My future plans are to go back to college and get my teaching degree. There is nothing better than seeing the smile on a child's face after they master a new skill on or off the court! I am so happy to be working with a great team like you and look forward to a new chapter in life!
