Dustin Loggins, WHS class of 2008, has had his baseball contract purchased by the Arizona Diamondbacks. The RHP played four years at College of the Ozarks. The summer of his college graduation led him to the Kansas City T-Bones, an independent professional team of the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball. Loggins played the last two seasons for the T-Bones starting off as a relief pitcher and then through about the middle of this past season moving into a starters role. In addition, During last winter, Dustin played for the Canberra Cavalry of the Australian Professional Baseball League.
 

Congratulations to Dustin and his family. We look forward to seeing him compete his way through the Diamondbacks system.

We will be holding tryouts for the high school baseball teams starting March 3rd and ending on March 5th. In order to tryout the player needs to have a valid physical on file with the athletic office. For more information about tryouts please read 2014 Baseball Tryouts flyer.
