Mtn. Grove Invitational

TO: CROSS COUNTRY PARENTS

REF: CROSS COUNTRY MEET AT MOUNTAIN GROVE
On Thursday,October 16 we will be participating in the Mountain Grove- Panther Cross Country Invitational to be held at the Randal Hinkle Golf Course in Mountain Grove.
The bus is expected to depart at 12:45 pm. Estimated arrival time back is 8:30pm
We will stop for .a meal after the race.
Directions: Travel south on Highway 17 to U Highway. Continue on U Highway to Highway 32 and turn left. Continue on Highway 32 to Highway 95 (at the store in Lynchburg, MO}. Turn south or right on Highway 95 to Mountain Grove.
Continue on Highway 95 to Business Highway 60 and turn right. Continue on Highway 60 to N Busch Ave and turn left, crossing W 1st St where N Busch becomes S Busch Ave. Continue to follow S Busch to the bus parking lot area at the golf course. You may want to Google map the location.
Race times: 3:30 pm girls,4:00 pm boys.

Waynesville Middle School Boys and Girls Champions at Conway Cross Country Invitational

On Monday evening the Waynesville Middle School Boys and Girls Cross Country team came away with both championship trophies at the Conway Invitational. The boys overall winner was Luke Morrison of the Tigers, and Aubrey Stoddard was the individual winner of the girls race. Other medalists for the Tiger team was Victor Daos 5th, Gunner Rees 8, and Kyle Pendleton 11. Other places were Jacob McKim 17, Kaden Evans 18, Elan Dreadfulwater 19, Keaton Noah 20, Evan Nitchman 22, Nathanial Wilson 23, Merrick Cook 28, Max Cordova 33, Parker Breeden 39, John Porter 43, Christian Kullberg 44 and Albert Williams 51.
Other medalists for the Lady Tigers were Marilyn Newsome 8, Makkah Mujahid 9, Kaylee Vasquez 11 and Heather Emerson 12. Other places were Gabby Victor 16, Lyra Devane 17, Rayleigh Fullerton 22, Gabby Spies 23, Trinity Mantz 40, Angela Mariam 47, Mica Santos 56, Caroline Pack 57, Kristen Holmes 62, Kiera Smith 67 and Breona Munday 78.

Conway XC Meet - Monday, October 6
The bus will depart from the Middle School at 1:30 with an estimated return time of 7:15 pm. Race time will be 4:00pm. We will not stop for a meal afterwards.
DIRECTIONS: Travel west on I-44 to Conway exit 113. Turn left and the school is about half mile on the right.
Cuba XC Meet - Tuesday, October 7
The bus will depart from the Middle School at 1:45 with an estimated return time of 7:30 pm. Race time will be 4:00 pm. We will not stop for a meal afterwards.
DIRECTIONS: Travel east on I-44 to Cuba at exit 208 turn right onto Highway 19 South. Continue on Hwy 19 to Highway O and turn right to the Cuba Lakes Country Club.
Licking XC Meet - Thursday, October 9
The bus will depart from the Middle School at 1:45 with an estimated return time of 7:45 p.m. Race time will be 3:45 pm. We will not stop for a meal afterwards.
DIRECTIONS: Travel east on I-44 to J Highway exit 169 and turn right. Continue on J Highway as it turns into K Highway to Highway 63. Turn right or south on Highway 63 to Licking. Travel through the stop light to Maple Ave and turn left. Continue on Maple to intersection of Maple and Highway 137, Deerlick Park is across the road.

Camdenton Invitational Meeting on Thursday, October 2 - Depart at 1:30 from Middle School
Directions:
West on I-44 to 133 Hwy exit to Richland. Continue on 7 to Hwy 5. At Hwy 5 turn left or south to Tonka Junction, turn right on Dry Hollow Rd. Follow directions to course. Located at Collins Farm Ha Ha Tonka State Park. This is not off Hwy 54 to the Ha Ha Tonka State Park site but the very back side of it. We will go to Camdenton to eat afterwards. Return around 8:45 p.m.

Belle Invitational - Thursday, September 25, 2014
Bus departs at 1;30 PM. Races begin at 4:00 PM.
Directions to meet: East on I-44 to Highway 63 north at Rolla. Highway 63 north to Highway 28 at Vichy Airport, turn right on Highway 28 to Belle. At junction Highway 89 turn left or north to 3rd Street and turn left travel past school to Belle City Park on left.
Estimated time of return is 7:20 PM
Steelville invitational

Thursday, September 18 we will be traveling to Steelville for our first Cross Country meet of the year.
?Race time: 4:00 pm
Departure time: 1:30 pm. Tennis parking lot
Arrival time back to school: Estimated 8:00 pm
Directions to course: Travel East on I-44 to Cuba exit and turn right on to highway 19 South to Steelville. Continue on highway 19, crossing the railroad tracks to the 3 way stop sign and junction of highway 19 and highway 8. Continue on highway 8 for about a mile to the Steelville City Park on the left side of roadway.
Athletes: you should bring a light pre-race snack and drink. Concessions have been available in the past.
