On September 27, the 7th grade volleyball team traveled to Jefferson City to face the Lewis and Clark Trailblazers. The Lady Tigers jumped out to a 14-8 lead in the first set and never looked back. #41 Gabriella Littrell had 1 block and 1 kill. In the second set, the Tigers fell behind early 8-12 but #4 Caterina Biever served six straight to retake the lead for Waynesville. With the score at 21-20 #36 Torrey McCall served up three straight at the end of the set to secure the win and the match. #32 Breona Hurd had 1 kill and 2 digs, #2 Alivia Seibert had 2 assists. #15 Kendra Grube and #23 McKinna Brown  had 2 digs a piece. The Tigers will play Eldon next Thursday, October 4 at Eldon. 

The seventh grade volleyball team hosted the Licking Wildcats on Sept. 24. In the first set the Lady Tigers struggled with their passing game but did not give up. #4 Caterina Biever served 4 straight in the first set. In the second set the Tigers took the lead 10-9 when Licking scored three straight to take back the lead. Libero #15 Kendra Grube had 2 digs and 3 aces, #32 Breona Hurd had a kill, #2 Alivia Seibert and 1 assist. The Lady Tigers fought hard but fell to the visiting Wildcats 18-25 in the second set. Licking took the match in two. The 7th grade volley Tigers travel to Jefferson City on Thursday to face Lewis and Clark. 

7th grades first practice will be held August 13th in the WMDS gym from 3-5 p.m.

Parents: PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK YOUR PAPERWORK ON YOUR ATHLETES PHYSICALS. Physicals are required to practice.

NO PHYSICAL or PAPERWORK PROPERLY FILLED OUT--NO PRACTICE. 

Make sure that insurance information, emergency contact information, concussion section is signed, student agreement section is signed, all places for signatures are filled in, and the official physical is filled out and signed.
