Tigers Lose: 1 - 2
It was a very exciting and close game between Waynesville and Nixa. Nixa ended up getting the win with a score of 2-1 in overtime. I can't say enough about how hard the Tigers worked and how well they worked together. Isaac Swanson had one of the best games of his career in net for the Tigers. Nixa put up 27 shots and had 16 corner kicks. Both goals for Nixa were from conner kicks. Isaac and the back line of Max Cordova, Riley Wright, Riley Clemons, Jakob Ungerecht, Nate Zabek, and James Choi stopped all 27 chances from the run of play. It was a fun and fair game to be a part of. The Tigers are going in the right direction. Our goal was scored by Ryan Wilburn assisted by David Havlin The JV Tigers won again with a 2-0 score against Nixa.

On a beautiful night for Senior night the Waynesville Boys Soccer team defeated Lebanon 3-2. Lebanon started the scoring for the night and it went back and forth all night till the last five minutes. It was a hard fought game on both sides and it shows the strength of the Ozark Conference. The Tigers are currently undefeated (4-0) in the conference. We thank the seniors for their hard work over the years and we are proud of you. Our seniors are Max Cordova, David Havlin, Angel Longoria, Tristian Mertz, and Ryan Wilbur. Goals were scored by Seth Cruz, Angel Longoria, and Ryan Wilbur. The JV Tigers once again earned another 10-0 shutout and improve to a 5-1 record for the season.

Tigers Win: 3 - 2
The Waynesville Boys soccer team was able to pull out the win in it's double overtime game against Camdenton last night. The final score was 3-2. The Tigers lead 2-0 going into halftime but the Lakers were determined and ready to go for the second half. Overtime was a different story. The Tigers came out on fire and were relentless with their attack. The constant pressure proved too much and the Tigers earned another Ozark conference win moving to 3-0 in the conference.  Goals were scored by Ryan Wilbur, Tristan Mertz, and the game winner by Jakob Ungerecht.  The JV team also had a great night and made quick work of the JV Lakers with a 10 - 0 victory.  Next up is Lebanon and it's Senior night!

Tigers Win: 4 - 1
Both the Waynesville Varsity and JV soccer program beat the West Plains teams 4 - 1.  The varsity side saw the offense find their groove and the defense sured up their rolls in the back. We had a great amount of work ethic that proved to be the major factor. The Tigers had to overcome an early goal from the Zizzers but once the Tigers scored they never looked back.  Varsity goals were scored by Angel Longoria, Kaleb Garcia, and Ryan Wilbur scored two.  JV goals were scored by Kevin Cruz, Jacob Solomon, and Johannes Momoh scored two.

The varsity team played 2 strong halves of soccer, but mistakes and missed chances cost the game. It was a competitive game that provided us opportunities to try different things with our style of play. We're still seeking the right mixture of lineup and formation that plays to our strengths. We are positive about how we are growing as a team.  David Havlin on the wing and Ryan Wilbur in central defense, proved extremely effective for us last night.  The offensive play from the JV was outstanding! They are going to be fun to watch if they keep this up
